Legaleyse is a monitoring platform for the gaming industry that provides real-time statistics to ensure compliance with regulation, as well as useful and real-time data to ensure smooth running of gaming platforms. Following our collaboration, Legaleyse achieved:
decrease in loading time
lines of code removed
Slow platform working only on desktop screens, with a number of UX & UI inconsistencies
Great performance, mobile-friendly platform, visual consistency across all screens and a smooth user experience
Our team was able to get productive in days to help Legaleyse with a quickly approaching deadline for a critical stakeholder demo.
Throughout, we followed a solution-oriented approach, tackling issues one by one in a quick manner.
We had in-depth discussions with the product manager to understand the project idea and prioritise new features. We estimated each of these features and identified common functionality that could be reused, to ensure the project is time and cost effective.
As a result of this exercise, new tasks were added to the backlog for monitoring, and work kicked off with an organised and prioritised backlog.
Visuals (mocks) were prepared to improve UX and make screens consistent throughout the app.
Real-time updates were provided by ticking off tasks one by one within JIRA, for the product manager to monitor.
Code reviews were used to improve quality.
Weekly demos ensured requirements were clear and progress was being made each week.
It now takes less than 1 second for the dashboard to load, down from 12 seconds. Our team quickly identified the root cause of the issue and implement a number of optimisations to speed up load time.
Scalability issues were addressed with Redux. CSS was upgraded to SCSS and over 5K lines of code were removed from the project. New features were added with an improved speed and stability following these refactors.
Visual consistency was brought to all screens. Following UX & UI improvements, users could enjoy a smoother experience and better responsiveness.
We added features that were necessary for a functional MVP, including a map with live-updates, support for sorting, filtering and pagination to all tables, permissions & more.
